Dance or Test
Imagine for a moment that you are the All-Knowing, All-Powerful, All-Present Source. And you're thinking of creating something BIG!

Of course it's going to be a GAME, but what kind of game?

Do you want it to be expressive like a dance where all the participants contribute new colors and sounds, and move around in creative ways?

Or, do you think you'd like to make your game into some kind of a test?

Remember, you are the only one who's actually playing it. All the participants are really part of you.

So, will these parts of you get to entertain each other by expressing themselves creatively? Or, will you make up a bunch of arbitrary rules (just for the hell of it), and punish yourself when you step out of line?

What type of game did God create?

From the endless variety present in Nature we can see God is fun-loving, forgiving, infinitely patient. So is it merely His zealous and self-proclaimed spokesmen who are fearful and forbidding - and not yet very creative - game players?
Good news: We have it!

"Bad" news: While we're learning how to use it, we don't always get the results we want.

A Great Game
Life is a beautifully simple game with one crucial rule: we get what we give.

We become aware of playing this game within certain dimensions, because what we give and get is stretched out over time and space.

The Objective
It's up to us to decide what to focus on:
  • What we get
  • What we give
When we're concerned about what we are getting, we think we must either endure what we don't like, or fight for what we want.
Most of us have been taught to spend our time deciding between these two choices - Enduring and Fighting.

But there is a Third Choice.

If we begin to think less of what we are consuming and more about what we are producing, we develop our capacity for compassion and love. And the Game of Life becomes richer, more joyful.

For everyone!

What's the Third Choice
